Let's Talk DMX

Since the unfortunate passing of DMX (may he rest in peace eternally 🙏🏽) let's talk about how much love and respect he had for Baby Girl. It goes without saying that he always held it down for Aaliyah. What is one thing that you'll always remember about DMX?

We noticed no one has really

We noticed no one has really posted anything on here yet so we decided to go first! 😊 The one thing that I remember about DMX the most was how real he was when it came to showing love and support towards Baby Girl. Not a day goes by even in his waking life, where he didn't. He also played such a huge part in my childhood growing up, where the impact of his loss, is one of the biggest ones in Hip-Hop history ever. No matter how much darkness the man encountered in his life, he did so much good within the community and towards his fans to help spread that awareness of his wisdom and love. When we think of iconic legends, we tend to think of someone who has their own style, sound and uniqueness which is unapologetically them. Aaliyah most certainly had that, and DMX for sure did too. Soon as you heard his voice you knew straight away who was rapping, because it was so distinct and the man we all grew up to love and know...

We came across a video tribute of DMX and Aaliyah made by The New Desi TV on YouTube and we thought this was a very beautiful, heartfelt tribute. Finally...they are reunited together again with a whole lotta catching up to do. RIP X 🙏🏽❤️
