Unfortunately, I was not able

Unfortunately, I was not able to attend her concerts. I was too young to go to them but I bet her performances were amazing.

Awww...same here! 😩 I was

Awww...same here! 😩 I was planning to go see her during her red album era, as that would of been the first concert I would of ever attended, unfortunately her passing just came so unexpectedly. But watching her performances from YouTube, you get a real sense of what it would of been like. I just know her tour for the red album would of been amazing! The whole Japanese animation anime promo was something that no one else was doing back then 😎

Unfortunately no. And

Unfortunately no. And sometimes I'm sad I did not become a fan of her earlier (fan since late 2010). Still a lot of times I dreamt about being on Aaliyah's concert or that i got some super rare old VHS tapes with unseen performances etc.

Oh wow since 2010? I didn't

Oh wow since 2010? I didn't know that! 😄 It's amazing to come across so many new fans constantly! Just goes to show how Aaliyah's impact and influence has been going on so strong, and that's all thanks to the fans holding her legacy down 20 years on. Despite the delay on certain things, I'm glad others will finally be able to know who the true, real blue print is behind all their faves. It's justice for Aaliyah and well deserved too! And ooo...dreams? If you mean specifically Aaliyah dreams, please feel free to share some of them on our dream thread here. ✌🏽❤️

Yup, 2010... There was this

Yup, 2010... There was this music website Last.fm. You were typing your music preferences and the radio was playing the music of this genres. Suddenly Back & Forth played and I was like OMG who is that!. I knew about Aaliyah and the fatal crash, I heard More than a woman before and I loved it but had no idea she recorded her first album at such a young age. That was the moment I could not stop listening to Back & Forth and exploring her music more and more. Now I think my love for her is only bigger and bigger. Idol for life. I will grow old with her in my heart, and hopefully my child will share that love with me because one day I need someone who will take over my collection lol ♥

Omg! I actually remember Last

Omg! I actually remember Last.fm! That was such a dope site, before Spotify etc... took over! I made so many great friends from there, and I loved the fact that people would recommend certain songs, albums which you would never really come across. That was like me but with Pandora (they used to have it here in the UK, but it's only available in the US now!) And lol aww...exactly! Gotta pass down the legacy to the little ones once we grow old and grey 🤣

I noticed you said you were

I noticed you said you were originally from the UK? That's where I'm from too! 😊 Did you ever go to secondary school here? As I remember Aaliyah going from school to school all over the UK to perform.
