Most definitely! I wasn't keen on it at first, as they seem to only be more focussed on Aaliyah's first era, in comparison to her other era's like OIAM, RMD and her Aaliyah era. I would definiely love to see a look from Are You That Somebody? or We Need A Resolution, including some red carpet events like from the 2000 VMA's where Aaliyah is wearing her iconic Roberto Cavalli zebra print dress. 😊
The Aaliyah Funko pop seems to be selling out fast. A while back I've seen it on Walmart, Target and Gamestop websites now they are not even showing up on their sites. Hottopic is sold out too. If I would've known it was going to be this popular, I would've preordered one.
Honestly, I'm not surprised! Anything with Aaliyah's name on it, whether the workmanship is of a great quality or not sells because of her name alone. I think the Funko Pop is the one thing where it shows more creativity and relevance, as well as a highly prized collectors item which will be worth something later on down the line. I ended up buying two! lol One to keep in the box, and one without it. A similar thing happened to myself when I wanted to order an official Aaliyah cap, and when I went to checkout, it was all sold out 😩 I was pretty bummed about that, as the design looked so dope 😍 Hopefully they do more! But with that being said...I just want her musicto be sorted first as that should be a main priority 💯
Yes, they need to get her music on streaming apps. If they are not able to do full albums, then at least just her top singles. I know actually what you mean about merchandise being out of stock. That's happened to me many times on Ebay with the rarest of Aaliyah magazines.
Agreed! I feel like they definitely need to do something this year as it marks 20 years since Aaliyah's passing. A 20th anniversary special LP edition would be very fitting! And yeah I hate when that happens on Ebay, especially when they over price it 🤦🏽♀️ It's like they think us fans are made of money! 😂

I love this funko, its so good with the details and all! I bought two :D i wish they make more of them, Try Again would be awesome or More Than A Woman. There's so many iconic looks! It's really hard to choose :)

I would love to see them coming out with more Aaliyah's trends. I love this era from One in a Million to Aaliyah. Her style shows maturity & she was a trendsetter at that time .

Me too. I'm not a fan of funko pop dolls and I was afraid Aaliyah one won't be done well but it came out very cool. When it comes to AANBAN era they picked perfect look :) the only complain I have about it is the fact Aaliyah funko has no lips and Aaliyah had great lips!! Especially her glossy lipsticks were one of her hallmarks.
That was the same with me! I liyerally only got this Funko Pop! because it was Aaliyah! 🤣 And I feel you on that sis. I noticed on Selena's and a few other Funko Pops where they included the lips. Oh well...I'm hoping they'll do more looks in the future! 😎

We need more funko pops!. The one funko pop isn't enough, Aaliyah has tons of iconic looks that needs to be Funkod Popped! . It's essential!! 💅
