It's increadible news! Seeing Aaliyah billboards in NYC, all the news, how I can not support this? Still, I'm sad that Mom Diane and Ra are not on board with this. I hope that they will deal somehow with Barry Hankerson as its obvious they should be paid. The worst thing is we fans are kinda put in the middle of this whole drama. I was thinking a lot and I've decided I'm supporting Aaliyah. I can't ignore the fact her music is back after so many years of waiting! She deserves all the credit and she was making her music for the fans.

So, I'm super excited since I ordered both Aaliyah & OIAM boxsets along with exclusive vinyls of both albums ♥

To honor and to thank Aaliyah I'll be streaming "Came to Give Love" as the first one, and as it comes to see one charting at No 1, well no other option like.... "One In A Million"!

Most definitely! It's unfortunate it had to happen this way, but I am so happy for Aaliyah's legacy. It's what she deserves, and most importantly we as fans deserve, as well as the writers and producers who contributed to her music. 20 years on and it's crazy how her music hasn't been available to stream apart from the first album. A lot of fans don't know this, but the more they stream the AANBAN album the more coins 'that man' gets 🤦🏽‍♀️ The fact that Tank, Eric Seats etc...have posted about the music finally being released clearly means they are getting their props and dues. I just feel bad for Jojo since I know she had to re-record all her masters, since she doesn't own the old recordings. But yeah..I'm not picking any sides, I choose Aaliyah's music and her legacy, and refuse to be made to feel guilty about wanting her music!

As for song choice, I think it's a no given that 'One In A Million' will be the first song I will stream! 😎❤️

(SN: I copped both the CD box sets and all the vinyls (limited edition and colour ones 🙊)

I love that finally Aaliyah get what she deserved. The promotion is awesome, all those banners, animations! Just think, it's 1996 and when you look at her pics and those animations it's so futuristic. Aaliyah is one in a million. Since Friday she's all the time on my spotify ♥ Finally...

Amen to that! Honestly, I couldn't be more happier. It's what Aaliyah deserves, and we have a lot to make up for. Seeing her charting against today's music is a testimony to her artistry and how far ahead of time she was. And same here sis! My Spotify has been on heavy rotation! 🤣 lol I'm looking forward to the Romeo Must Die and Are You That Somebody Re-release too! I wonder what they will do with Journey To The Past, Turn The Page and Are You Ready? songs because technically they are also from soundtracks too. 🤔

It's beyond words her music is available on streaming platforms and albums has been reissued ♥ She deserves it! I think I've already bought everything lol along with that bottle green OIAM exclusive vinyl from Urban Outfitters. I'm going to make a special display of all new items that came out :D
